Sibu Chapter Chairman Preview 2006
Another year has gone by. MRCS, Sibu Chapter continued to work as humanitarian organization to render help and services for the alleviation of pains and sufferings of the afflicted fellow human beings. Our first-aid workers, disaster relief efforts, blood donation services and our training programmes for various categories of people formed our regular activities, and they continued to be active and successfully carried out, thanks to the dedication of so many of our working members.
Our Youth and link section continued to recruit new members while some older members left fot higher studies. The strength of the Youth and Link members continued to remain strong.
The fund raising efforts remained more or less the same each year. We are grateful to all the members who devoted valuable time and energy to help our Chapter to raise sufficient funds for our activities. I wish here to give thanks to the generous public in Sibu as well as all the Y.Bs and donors for their unfailing donation to our Society.
Our members both young and old are aware that disaster man-made or natural can occur anytime anywhere. Therefore, as MRCS members, we must be prepared all the time to do the utmost we can to give help and relief to the affected victims. As such, continuous learning and preparedness are essential.
Finally, I thank all my colleagues in the executive committee for their dedication, help and guidance. I hope all will continue to render humanitarian services to the less fortune fellow human beings for many years to come.
Thank you and I wish and anywhere a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
